Avant’s award-winning orchestral work, Nani Lahaina-Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra with violinist Davide Alogna and Miran Vaupotic conducting, appears on the 2025 Global Music Awards-Gold Medal Winning Album, Symphonic Stradivarius. A winner in the 2025 Intercontinental Music Awards, Pangea-Classical category, Nani Lahaina has also received a Silver Medal in the Global Music Awards (2025) and was nominated in the 2025 Hollywood Independent Music Awards. Avant is a four-time recipient of the Global Music Awards Silver Medal, Winner of the 2023 The American Prize ~ Pops/Light Composition Award, three-time recipient in the Clouzine International Music Awards and a four-time nominee in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
Avant’s music embraces thematic and rhythmic intentions often reflecting her Latin heritage, encompassing her passion for classical, jazz, world and ethnic music. She has collaborated with Indie Filmmakers throughout the U.S. and has composed music for children's books in collaboration with author Frank Clark M.D. and for Burmer Music Productions LLC.
