Symphonina Foundation Newsletter

June - 2026

Hi Symphonina Fans!

It’s a wrap!!

Our 2026 Symphonina Foundation Double Album.

Symphonina Stories: New Horizons is officially done! The double album features 8 Symphoninas, 4 orchestras, incredible soloists, and we’re so thrilled to be able to bring this wonderful music to you all. We’re aiming for a July 24 release!

The 2-CD set starts with 2025 Best Symphonina of the Year Award winner Christopher Siu and his Symphonina No. 1 (Hope) performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. It follows with runner-up Jordan Jinosko’s Symphonina No. 3 (Of Fire and Water), also recorded by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, and then Alexander Unseth’s Symphonina No. 3 (Painted City) and Chris Prather’s Symphonina No. 1 (Tales from Spooky Town) both performed by our International Symphonina Orchestra.

The second CD starts with 5-time GRAMMY®-nominee David Arkenstone and his Symphonina No. 1 (Dreams Carried on Fire), a tribute to humanity’s achievements in space and the recent successful Artemis II mission. It was performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra and orchestrated by Jeremy Borum. That’s followed by GRAMMY nominee David Das’ Symphonina No. 1 (Lenny and George Walk Into a Bar), an homage to Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin. David's composition was also performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, with David conducting his own work. The album proceeds with David Fogel’s Symphonina No. 6 (Flutissimo), performed by the International Symphonina Orchestra and featuring Ragan Whiteside (flute) and Alexander Boldachev (harp), and concludes with Daniel Fisher’s Symphonina No. 3 (Runaway Dream Days), performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra, featuring Paul Bateman and Jan Mulder (piano).

Our producer team, David Fogel, Chris Prather, Gary Gray, Daniel Fisher, Gabriel Mulder, David Das, David Arkenstone, Cynthia Gage, and Zain Effendi thanks everyone involved along the way. We’ll be doing spotlight features for the International Symphonina Orchestra, which includes young and elite players from around the world, and it’s our good fortune to have them as our friends.

We want to again thank everyone who helped us create all this wonderful music and CD: the composers, performers, conductors, engineers, producers, engravers, artists, everyone who contributed time and funds to help us produce all of this, and all of you who support us in other ways. We’re truly very grateful. Look for more credits to everyone involved as we post the liner notes coming soon.
