Hi Symphonina Fans!
It’s May and we have some big news. Drum roll please!
Announcing the 2026 Symphonina Foundation Double Album
We’ve been working diligently on this year’s Symphonina Foundation album ever since our 2025 Best Symphonina of the Year competition concluded in January. With thanks to artist Tabitha Pugh we’re thrilled to be able to share the title and cover with you today!
Symphonina Stories: New Horizons will be a double album with eight (that’s right eight!) Symphoninas. Leading the album is Christopher Siu’s competition-winning Symphonina No. 1 (“Hope”) and Jordan Jinosko’s runner-up composition Symphonina No. 3 (“Of Fire and Water”), each performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. Following Christopher and Jordan on the first CD, we have Alexander Unseth’s Symphonina No. 3 (“Painted City”) and Chris Prather’s Symphonina No. 1 (“Tales from Spooky Town”) each recorded by the International Symphonina Orchestra. Then, on the second CD, we start with 5-time Grammy® nominee David Arkenstone and his Symphonina No. 1 (“Dreams Carried on Fire”), followed by Grammy nominee David Das and his Symphonina No. 1 (“Lenny and George Walk Into a Bar”), each performed again by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. That’s followed by David Fogel’s Symphonina No. 6 (“Flutissimo”) featuring Ragan Whiteside on flute and Alexander Boldachev on harp, performed by the International Symphonina Orchestra. Finally, the album concludes with HIMA award winner Daniel Fisher and his Symphonina No. 3 ("Lyrical Hearts"), performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The album is scheduled to release July 24 and we’ll have the pre-sale ready for CDs and digital downloads early in June.
We want to thank everyone who helped us create all this wonderful music and CD: the composers, performers, conductors, engineers, producers, engravers, artists, everyone who contributed time and funds to help us produce all of this, and all of you who support us in other ways. We’re truly very grateful. Look for more credits to everyone involved as we post the liner notes coming soon.
