Newsletter - April 2024

Dear Friends:

We’re happy to share some great news with you for April 2024 as we prepare for the release of our new album, scheduled for late June. As you know, our mission is all about Spreading the Joy of Symphonic Music to Young Audiences Around the World. Our key activities include:

David Fogel has been busily working with Alex Unseth, the winner of the 2023 Best Symphonina of the Year competition, to mix Alex’s fantastic Symphonina No. 1. It’s performed by the 2024 International Symphonina Orchestra, comprising more than 30 players from around the world.

In addition, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra will be recording runner-up Jordan Jinosko’s Symphonina No. 1 (Three Sketches of an Unblemished Earth) at the end of the month.

Alex’s and Jordan’s compositions will be paired up with Symphoninas by David Fogel and Daniel Fisher – stay tuned for more information soon, as well as some behind-the-scenes videos, early audio mixes, and a preview of the album cover design for you to enjoy.

We will be announcing the 2024 Best Symphonina of Year competition next month, with entries opening in November and closing in December 2024. We will again have a $2000 first-place prize for the winner and a $1000 runner-up prize with winners to be announced in January 2025.
