Newsletter - January 2024

Dear Friends:

We hope you’re doing well and 2024 is off to a wonderful start for you! We’re happy to be able to share some great updates from The Symphonina Foundation with you!

First, we have a brand new look! And here you are on our new website:  www.symphonina.org  Please take a look around and let us know what you think! We’d love to hear from you and please feel free to share the site with others who would appreciate our mission and music! We want to thank the newest member of our Board of Advisors, Daniel Fisher, for all his help with the website, along with Kelly Walsh and Jay Isaacson for their help as well.

As you likely know, 2023 was a big year for the foundation, with the release of our first album “Introducing the Symphonina: Spreading the Joy of Symphonic Music to Young Audiences Around the World.” The album featured compositions by Christopher Reed and Steve Locks, the winner and runner-up of our 2022 Best Symphonina of the Year Competition, along with two of David Fogel’s Symphoninas, all recorded live by the 2023 International Symphonina Orchestra and Budapest Scoring Orchestra, and with a featured piano performance by Chetan Tierra.  The album has received several recognitions now, including a nomination for Best Classical Album from the World Entertainment Awards, along with other recognitions from the Global Music Awards, Clouzine, and Akademia.

The 2023 album CD is now available for pre-order: Click here   Or go to the store page on the main menu.  All proceeds from the album sales go directly to promote the foundation’s mission and will support young and experienced players from around the world with their live recordings for our 2024 album.  We’re in the home stretch judging the entries for the 2023 composer contest and expect to have some great compositions prepared for the 2024 album. If you would like to contribute or donate in support of The Symphonina Foundation please visit: https://symphonina.org/donate. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and relies 100% on donors, like you.

Thanks so much for your assistance and encouragement. We always look forward to hearing from you and if you’d like to volunteer to help us, please let us know! You can email David Fogel (CEO) at david.fogel@symphonina.org.

Until February!
