The Symphonina Foundation

Laura Aida Gantner (2nd violin, Poland) started playing violin at the age of 5. At a young age, she entered and won many competitions in both solo and group performances. She was schooled in Wanda Wiłkomirska’s and Zakhar Bron’s masterclass. As she describes it, because of some private issues she stopped playing the violin for a number of years, but her love for music was so great, that she decided to come back to playing. Now she is back in school, in Warsaw Poland, learning how to sing, play fretless bass, piano comping, and jazz improvisation on violin. In summer she loves to travel through Europe and play on the street to inspire others and cultivate her passion in beautiful places.
